Looking forward to reading about the end of your trip. Happened upon your site while trying to find out what beach to take my kids to tomorrow. It’s a toss up between Carpenteria or Sycamore Cove (Malibu). I live in the Channel Islands community of Ventura County. (You wrote pass our harbor going from Santa Barbara to Malibu.
